1. How can I place an order?
Please directly call us at 1-847-419-9700 during our business hours(Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm Central Time).

Print out our Order Form from our web site and FAX your order to 1-847-419-7763. Credit Card information via FAX is secure.
2. How long do orders usually take to ship and arrive?
a. All orders require approximately 24 hours to process and ship. b.
Packages shipped via UPS ground usually arrive within 5-7 business days. c.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination. d. Business days
exclude weekends and holidays.
3. What are your payment terms?

We can only offer payment method through the following credit cards: Visa,
Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

4. Does API charge sale tax?
Yes, we are required to charge state and local sales tax on
orders shipped to states where we have stores. Some taxing authorities charge
sales tax on merchandise and shipping, while others charge sales tax only on
merchandise; we are required to follow the rules of each state. .
5. How do we ship our products to you?
Shipping is handled through UPS, FedEx, or Common Carrier. Sorry, we are not accepting orders for shipment outside of the
United States. Shipping costs to Alaska and Hawaii are extra.

Tracking information will typically be emailed to you the day after your item
ships. Once you have received confirmation of shipment, you may follow up on the status

a. What is DVR?
A DVR is a feature-packed, state-of-the-art, PC based, digital video
surveillance and recording system, utilizing the latest in video capture and
storage technologies. With features like; remote viewing, remote backup and
remote setup; integrated alarmed recording, or motion detection recording;
enhanced M JPEG compression, and password protection, the DVR leaves very little
else to be desired. DVR’s may be configured in multiples of up to 16 video
channels per DVR, with ability to stack systems for an infinite quantity of
video channels. The video storage capacity for each DVR is virtually unlimited.
b. Why DVR?
With one DVR unit you no longer need to purchase time lapse recorders, motion
detectors, quad processors, pan tilt zoom controllers or any other accessory
replaced by the software of your DVR unit. You also eliminate the need of
purchasing and archiving an endless stream of VHS tapes.
c. What should we check if no picture shows up?
a. Please check the power cable disconnection and then
connect the power cable
tightly.
b. Please check the video cable disconnection
and then connect the video cable tightly.
c. Please
check the color television system (NTSC/PAL) of monitor disaccord with that of camera and then accord the TV type of
monitor with that of camera
d. What should we do if the picture quality is poor?
a. Please check stain or
dust on lens and then clean the camera lens.
b. Please
check beads of water inside caused from sudden temperature change and then stop using the camera for a while and
use it later.

e. What should we do if the picture is shrinking?
The problem could be from shortage of power.

f. Are DVRs dependable?
Absolutely! Unlike tape recorders which have many moving parts and are prone to multi mechanical failures, your DVR unit is a computer just like in your home or office. Also, when a power failure occurs, your DVR unit will automatically re-boot and continue to operate normally.
g. Can I just unplug my VHS recorder and plug in my new DVR?
Yes you can! It's that simple! Your existing cameras will simply plug into your new system and start working for you immediately. If you are going to view remotely you will need an internet connection or modem.
h. Can I build my own DVR?
Yes you can. By purchasing one of our capture cards, you can plug it into your personal computer and download our software and you will have your own PC based DVR unit. [Check system requirements on our Download page, or call us anytime.]
