Mr. James Shin is President and founder of API Security Systems, Inc.. Since 1996 Mr. Shin's entrepreneurial success has allowed API Security Systems, Inc. to diversify. Mr. Shin has started two other businesses from 1990 and eventually rolled them into API Security Systems, Inc.. James has been very involved in the day-to-day operations of the business since it was created.
Mr. Shin was a senior engineer with Motorola, Inc. from 1990 through 1996 until API Security Systems, Inc. demanded his fulltime attention. He was a development engineer for AT&T Network Systems from 1987 through 1990. James graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 1987 with a BSEE. Majored in Telecommunications engineering and computer engineering. He immigrated to this country in 1981 from South Korea and became a US Citizen in 1987.
