In April 2007, the company name, API Communications, Inc., has been changed to API Security Systems, Inc.. API Security Systems, Inc. became the US Exclusive Distributor for Uriel Systems on Video Surveillance Equipment to its product line. The product line includes the latest technology of DVR System and Capture Board equipments. API is supplying dealers as well as retailers.

[New DVR Systems and Remote Access Software]
Since September 20th 2004, API DVR Systems has been upgraded. API is now supporting new developed 16 Channel DVR Systems(DVR-12016U, DVR-48016U and DVR-48416U) as well as existing 4channel DVR systems(DVR-03004S and DVR-12004S) Consequently, the remote access software for 16 CH systems have changed from M-Client to AVS-NET. Since March 4th 2004, API has upgraded its remote access software whose name is M-Client. This software applies to API DVR Systems( DVR-12016S, DVR-48016S and DVR-48216S) purchased after March 7th 2004. Comparing with the previous remote access software (Uniclient), some dominant functions has been updated such as Duplex audio, Control and setup of DVR from a remote site, and so on.
