ACM has introduced a new open access publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions that are not yet part of the ACM Open program will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to publish their ICPS article in the ACM Digital Library, unless one of their co-authors' institutions is a member or they qualify for a waiver. To determine whether or not an APC will be applicable to your article, please follow the detailed guidance here: https://www.acm.org/publications/icps/author-guidance .
All new ICPS articles will be published open access in the ACM Digital Library. Some papers will require the payment of an article processing charge (APC).
For papers that fall into the following categories, no APC is required; the papers will be published in the DL at no charge:
All other articles will require the payment of an APC, as detailed below:
If Authors individually
responsible for payment of APCs, the following APC
pricing structure will apply.
If the corresponding author is affiliated with an
institution in a lower-middle-income country (as defined
by the World Bank) and any of the authors is a member of
ACM, the applicable APC is $350 per paper for 2027
conferences.
If the corresponding author is affiliated with an
institution in a lower-middle-income country but none of
the authors is a member of ACM, the APC is $500 per
paper for 2027 conferences.
If the corresponding author is not affiliated
with an institution in a lower-middle-income country but
at least one of the paper’s authors is an ACM member,
the APC is $700 per paper for 2027 conferences.
For all other papers that require the payment of
an APC, the APC is $1,000 per paper for 2027
conferences.
Please note that ACM will not be providing
refunds for APCs that have already been paid.
APIT 2027 conference group will pay for the APC fee for the authors who are not ACM open program member, not in low-income country and need to Pay The applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) to ACM publishing house.
